Wuji Mountain Musings #3

Back in early 2020 I made a video for my YouTube Channel that gave people advice on how to prepare for what I saw was coming. With nearly 10,000 views, I’m happy that at least some people saw this, and I pray they followed my guidance. I still stand by what I shared back then about what you can do to stay healthy with a strong immune system, even in these challenging times.

What I recommend as an empowering daily protocol is the following:

  • Vitamin C – 1,000 mg
  • Vitamin D3
  • Zinc
  • Quercetin
  • 15 minutes of sitting or standing meditation
  • 20 minutes of gentle Qigong movement

Of course added to that is staying hydrated with healthy water (spring water and not tap water unless it’s heavily filtered.) I always start my day with two cups of warm/hot water before any food.

For the above supplements, take them as directed on the bottle for Required Minimum Dosages (RMD) as they are typically good guidelines for a once-per-day regime.  Quercetin – which is critical for the the uptake of Zinc along with Vit C – should be taken 20 – 30 minutes before a meal, all the others should be taken after eating. There are many good brands and options and none of this is too expensive.

There is a massive amount of science from many studies showing that this simple daily protocol is helpful to keep healthy people healthy and has been shown to reduce the effect of symptoms for those who have them.

Of course, stress, fear, worry, and anger all contribute to weakening your immune system.  Qigong and Meditation practices are easy ways to transform those survival emotions into useful energy that will not only strengthen your immune system, but will keep you in a positive state and better able to navigate the challenging times ahead.
